Job Description:

Brighto Paints Pvt. Ltd, a well-respected executive firm focused on permanent placements, is currently looking for a permanent/direct hire HR Officer for our HR Services Department in Faisalabad Plant Office with following Job details:

Candidate will report to the HR Manager and will responsible for implementing and maintaining human resource management systems for the organization according to HR policies and procedures. Officer controlling on-going development, testing, recording and reporting of the Human Resource Management System while ensuring the goals, objectives and business needs of the Human Resource Department are met. The Officer will drive maximum utilization of equipment, materials and personnel necessary to achieve cost, cycle time and other objectives in support of the business objectives. In order to drive efficiency, maximum utilization, and continuous improvement that drive business objectives. In meeting these objectives, Officer will have to lead, influence and communicate effectively with all employees within the organization.

Within the first year the Officer will have to learn the process, equipment capabilities, material and supplied that are needed to successfully operate. He will be tasked with owning continuous improvement initiatives to continue driving success and continuous growth within the association. Upward mobility will include the possibility of an expectation to lead the second shift process as the facility continues to grow towards new capacity and additional volume. Wearing multiple hats will be crucial as you will learn all aspects of a systems and the successful Officer can use this experience to springboard into other opportunities within the organization.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:.

  • Establish and maintain systems according to HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop and conduct in-house training programs to end-users.
  • HR filling and maintain HR compliance.
  • Post recruiting signs and flyers in the area.
  • Calls applications and conducts initial phone interviews.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Researching and collecting data for various HR initiatives.
  • Networking with external resources.
  • Performing Reference and background checks.
  • Preparing materials for orientation.
  • Preparing all new hire paperwork.
  • Prepares recruiting materials.
  • Manage Leave Records.
  • General filing and HR compliance.
  • Human Resources administrative duties.
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive or confidential information.
  • Assists administratively with the interview and hiring process.
  • Maintaining and recording the compensation record.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date end-user training manuals and materials.
  • Establish and maintain up-to-date HRMS functional departmental documentation, standard operating procedures, as well a comprehensive HRMS reports library.
  • Provide periodic report to management on on-going HRMS implementation status with time lines.
  • Create employee profiles in HRMS, maintain standard employee information.
  • Complete document of employees to new system.
  • Maintain promotion/movement history, training and compensation record.
  • Assist in payroll processing and lead automation of manual processes.
  • Conduct HR process audit and measure effectiveness of on-going HR operations suggest process improvement.
  • Provide analytical reports on key trends and HR metrics.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree [BBA/BS Management [Preferable in HRM]

Skills Required:

  • Good understanding of HRMS related products and terminology, implementation, architecture, philosophy and integrated technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in project management in a professional services role.
  • Experience with Database entry and maintenance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work, excellent organizational skills and initiative to improve processes.

1973:
The stone setting of this vision was the birth of Pakistan’s first paint production company, Brighto Paints in 1973 at Saeed Park, Shahdara, Lahore, established by Mr. Kh. Riaz Ahmed Sikka. Mr. Sikka’s journey holds no introduction, for his resilience and business intelligence is the result of a market leader today. His company’s inaugural production was of Synthetic Enamel paint, the first for Pakistan with production design which is followed still after 3 decades.

1981:
His continuous efforts resulted in enormous success and the establishment of a new production plant in 1981 at Majid Street, Bara Dari Road, Shahdara, Lahore. The facility included commendable production facility and techniques and innovative methods to produce high quality products. The same year was the start of production of water based paints. This was a revolutionary step towards industrializing the paint industry on a large scale. Pakistanis had the distinct opportunity of now purchasing locally produced, international standard paints.

1989:
The journey of Brighto Paints took a new turn in the establishment of Pakistan’s first Alkyd Resin Plant, under the name of Sikka Enterprises in 1989 by Kh. Riaz Ahmed Sikka as a sister concern of Brighto Paints. This gave birth to quality in oil based paint manufacturing for Brighto Paints. The Alkyd Resin plant was designed to process soya bean, vegetable oil and other such additives to produce alkyd resin a significant raw material for oil based paints. The quality of the paint depended heavily on the quality of the alkyd resin. This established some serious goals and aims in the management’s minds to enhance their quality and offer serious competition to international paint suppliers. The diversity of products was key to the success of Brighto even then, which today it holds no comparison to, in the market saturated.

2000:
In the year 2000, Brighto placed the mantle of its business presence in the market by becoming a private limited firm under the company’s ordinance act of 1973.

2004:
Opening new horizons, Brighto Paints took a glorified step towards global operations by launching export to Afghanistan in 2004. This meant that not only was Brighto the first company to locally produce paint in Pakistan but also export it. The company never looked back, from exports to local production to plant enhancement, Brighto Paints had the zeal, meek and valor to become a market leader and a combination of business skills that are found in the fortunate few.

2005:
By 2005 Brighto Paints enhanced their production plant according to international standards and relocated to Raiwind Road, Lahore. Brighto Paints also hosted an in-house Resin Plant and the capacity to produce water and oil based paints within their own facility. The new plant is ISO certified, has won various awards and accreditations and is automated to meet the market demands. Brighto Paints also hosts within its production facility to provide gallon design technology to meet the customer’s tailored made demands.

2007:
It didn’t take long for Brighto Paints to realize the potential it had and the possibilities to become a future market leader. Therefore, realizing the need to institutionalize themselves, in 2007 Brighto Paints established an in-house marketing division. Armed with renowned professionals and dedicated workforce Brighto started communicating to its audience and customers on a corporate level. The division revolutionized the identity, image and market exposure of Brighto Paints.

2011:
Never compromising on quality, in 2011 Brighto Paints was the first paint company in Pakistan to achieve International Quality Crown Award in Gold Category by Business Initiative Directions in London.
