| Job Description: |
- Must have certification in CCNA and/or CCNP or better
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate with our US staff
- Must have a some understanding of telecommunications transmission mechanisms including MPLS, Frame Relay, VPN, Sonet, DS-3, ISDN and T1.
- Demonstrated ability to perform problem isolation with Telecommunications Infrastructure such as Routing, Bridging/Spanning Tree, Security, and Network Management and Analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to perform problem isolation with LAN/WAN environments.
- Must have a understanding of industry standard network technologies including TCP/IP, DHCP, SNMP, TFTP, IEEE 802.3 family, QoS, and CoS.
- Knowledge and practical application of network security, vulnerability management, security monitoring and detection of in appropriate voice network usage.
- Must possess a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm.
- Must be able to apply a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of technical concepts, practices and procedures.
- Must also possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to be called upon 24/7 in case of emergencies.
- Ability to work a regularly scheduled on-call schedule
- Implement, maintain, and support local and remote portions of the company network.
- Work in an enterprise IT environment with tasks related to network security, firewalls administration, access and perimeter control, vulnerability management, intrusion detection and security monitoring.
- Responsible for network performance tuning and monitoring.
- Participate in design meetings for assigned IT projects for the company.
- Automate daily tasks.
- Provide timely project status updates to customers and management.
- Install and configure communications equipments as needed.
